Systematic Comparison for Secure Follow-up Care

After a conisation or laser vaporisation, follow-up care ensues. The initial examination typically occurs after three months, with further check-ups at regular intervals. During each examination, the question arises: How does the cervix compare to the previous examination?

Documented colposcopy makes this comparison objective. The images taken before the therapy show the original lesion. The follow-up images show the current condition. The direct comparison on the screen indicates whether the therapy was successful or if a recurrence is developing.
