Flexible Visualisation for Variable Depths

Operating in the paranasal sinuses involves navigating a three-dimensional labyrinth. The frontal sinus, maxillary sinus, ethmoid cells and sphenoid sinus are located at different levels and require varying perspectives. While the endoscope provides crucial information, the stereoscopic view through the microscope is indispensable for many surgical steps.

The key lies in the variable working distance. With a vario-lens, the surgeon can choose a working distance between 200mm and 400mm seamlessly, without needing to change the lens. This means focusing instead of reassembling, operating instead of adjusting. The time previously spent on changing lenses is now available for the actual procedure.

The swivelling binocular tube with its range of 0° to 210° allows for ergonomic working even in unusual positions. If the access angle to the field of operation changes, the tube adapts, not the surgeon. This spares the neck and maintains concentration during long surgeries.
