The particularly stable base plate of the stand ensures constant working positions and precise observation results. The practical coarse height adjustment via the column guide with reliable clamping enables quick adaptation to different requirements.

The integrated LEDone light source ensures optimal visibility, providing illumination in daylight quality and enabling effortless, detailed work even over longer periods.

Size variants for different requirements

The Kaps SLM is available in two practical sizes: the SLM 1 with a generous base plate (420 × 600 mm) and 500 mm focusing drive for more extensive work, and the more compact SLM 2 (300 × 400 mm base plate, 300 mm focusing drive) for confined spaces.

Stable construction for precise working

The robust base plate and precise column guide minimize vibrations and ensure constant working positions. The reliable coarse height adjustment with secure clamping enables quick and precise adjustment of the working height.

Optimal lighting

The modern LEDone light source ensures uniform, high-contrast illumination in daylight quality. It offers natural color rendering and improves the recognition of fine structures with minimal heat generation.

Flexible magnification options

The standard 3-step magnification changer covers most applications. For more demanding tasks, a 5-step magnification changer is optionally available, which enables a finer gradation of the magnification.

Optical quality

The Kaps SLM impresses with its first-class optical quality, which ensures clear, high-contrast and detailed images. The high-quality stereo optics in combination with the modern LEDone lighting delivers images in daylight quality with natural color rendering. This enables a precise assessment of color nuances and structures, which is particularly important in material testing or medical applications. The optionally available 5-step magnification changer offers additional flexibility when viewing details. The various eyepiece options (10×, 12.5× or 20×) can be adapted to individual visual habits and application requirements. The integrated green filter and other filter options available on request further expand the range of applications and allow optimal contrast enhancement for specific observation tasks.
