Brilliant images for the visible difference

The Kaps SOM© 4dent 300 dental microscope delivers sharp, crystal-clear images in natural colors and with high-resolution details. The microscope has a varioscope that offers a working distance of 200 mm to 350 mm. Together with the unique new manual zoom system in the range of 1:7, it enables flexible adjustment of working distance and magnification to the current treatment situation at the touch of a button. This allows the dentist to switch quickly and easily between detailed field of view (maximum magnification) and overview field (largest possible field of view) without any restriction of spatial vision. The double iris diaphragm ensures an increase in the depth of field and even more details in the field of view. The integrated spot illumination ensures that tissue outside the treated area is not unnecessarily stressed. With the orange filter, you can effectively filter out disruptive UV components that can lead to premature hardening during treatment with composite fillings.

Integrated fanless LED lighting

The color temperature of the LED lighting is very similar to daylight, has a high light intensity, delivers excellent color rendering and thus ensures fatigue-free working. By integrating the lighting into the microscope, the system completely dispenses with fiber optics. Consequential costs such as the repair of damaged fiber optics or the replacement of lamps are thus a thing of the past. The lighting system does not cause any disturbing fan noise and generates only little heat despite its high light intensity.

Functional ergonomic working

Equipped with a long support arm, the dentist has a large working area with maximum freedom of movement and unimpeded access to the patient. With the optional 45° ergonomic wedge, neck and back pain are optimally prevented. All microscope movements are carried out with absolutely minimal effort. In addition, the Kaps SOM© 4dent 300 has electromagnetic brakes with a balancing device for fixing the microscope head in the current position. Press the button on the handle and the magnetic brakes release. Once the new working position has been reached, release the button again and the new position is fixed. Asymmetrical load distributions on the microscope head due to adapted accessories are compensated for and do not affect the ergonomics. All connecting cables are integrated within the system – a guarantee for easy and efficient cleaning of the system. The microscope is available on a mobile stand and for wall or ceiling mounting. The new dental microscope series is also ideally suited for group practices. By using an ergonomic wedge, varioscope and swivel tube, different users can work with the microscope without time-consuming modifications. The ergonomics remain the same for every user!

Motorized varioscope

It has a varioscope with a continuously adjustable working distance of 200 mm to 350 mm, combined with a motorized zoom system in the range of 1:7. This enables flexible adjustment of working distance and magnification at the touch of a button.

Electromagnetic brakes

The microscope is equipped with electromagnetic brakes and a balancing device. This enables precise positioning of the microscope head and compensates for asymmetrical load distributions caused by adapted accessories.
